Can I open a Demat account with joint holders?

Yes, you can open Demat accounts jointly, however first you have to open an online trading and Demat account. After that, you can open a joint Demat account by submitting the physical account opening form (can be downloaded from the website or visit nearest the  branch/RM) along with the below mentioned supporting documents:

  1. Passport size photograph
  2. PAN card copy
  3. Proof of identity
  4. Proof of address
  5. Copy of cancelled cheque leaf/passbook/bank statement specifying the name of the constituent, MICR Code or/ and IFSC Code of the bank.
